Welcome to Wabi-Sabi Life!
Those of us that work at Wabi-Sabi Life are shy individuals and we like to hide behind Itsuki!
Itsuki, like us, believes that simple skills like sewing on a button and repairing a garment are important ones and we love nothing more than to teach people to sew.
Sewing certainly takes patience, and this is another skill that we believe is important to learn. Todays online activities often lead to instant gratification, so learning a skill that requires patience and often forces you to accept the imperfect is a valuable experience for many.

In House Design
Our kits, pattern, guides and fabrics are all created by a small team and we strive to produce everything to the highest standards. We produce our doll clothing patterns to the same standards as a professional dress making pattern, with as much attention to detail, the only difference is the size! Our pattern maker has almost 30 years of industrial experience in making patterns for clothing companies all over the world! We are also here to support you with each and every Wabi-Sabi project, and you can join us over at Wabi-Sabi Studios to download all our making guides, templates and gain access to lots of help, advice and support.
Sustainability
As a company we try our best to avoid plastic packaging as much as we possibly can. Potato starch posting sacks may not be the most beautiful packaging option, but they certainly are the most biodegradable and eco friendly tough sack we can use. We package our kits in carboard and our trimmings in reusable containers. There are exceptions to this, but we think carefully about them, for example we have found it best to package our fusible interfacing in a small cello bag, as we need to keep the product dry and intact.
